Joseph G. Isaac

English · Español

A founding partner of Mendez Isaac Joudi, PLLC, Joseph Isaac handles the firm's most serious cases: wrongful death, trucking and motor vehicle collisions, product liability, and medical malpractice. Texas Super Lawyer 2023, El Paso Bar Association's Most Outstanding Lawyer 2023, and a member of the Texas Verdict Hall of Fame, he is licensed in both Texas and New Mexico, covering the full borderland.

About Joseph

Joseph concentrates his practice on the catastrophic side of injury law: wrongful death, trucking and motor vehicle accidents, product liability, workplace injuries, breach of fiduciary duty and trust, and medical malpractice. These are the cases where the defense brings its biggest resources, and where preparation decides outcomes.

He graduated summa cum laude from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2007, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity and the Learned Hand Inn. He earned his B.A. from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2004.

Joseph is admitted in Texas (2007) and New Mexico (2008), and before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for both the 5th and 10th Circuits, the federal appellate courts covering each side of the state line. That dual licensure means a crash on I-10 near Las Cruces and a workplace death in El Paso get the same lead trial counsel, with no hand-off.

His results have earned him a place in the Texas Verdict Hall of Fame for a 2013 motor vehicle verdict, selection as a Texas Super Lawyer in 2023, election as a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation in 2023, recognition as the El Paso Bar Association's Most Outstanding Lawyer in 2023, and earlier selection to the Texas Rising Stars list. He has been a member of the Texas Young Trial Lawyers Association since 2007. At MIJ Law, clients work with Joseph directly, in English or Spanish, from the first consultation through verdict or settlement.
